Thank You, Donna and Nelson, for renewing our faith in the "B&B" experience.
The food was excellent, the company was delightful as well as informational
and our room was very comfortable. Our stay was part of a trip to the
NYS Cross Country Championships that led to a pleasant adventure which
included the Lawrence Manor.

I would like to say that your saying "where strangers become
friends" is so true. BUT you make a person feel like a friend from
the very start. We were in for my nephew Gary Hughes II funeral and
you made all of us feel welcome and very comfortable. You were wonderful
and your place was wonderful! You went out of your way to make us feel
welcome. Our three rooms and your hospitality made it feel like home!
I will let everyone that will listen know what a wonderful place you
have! I will be back one day and want to say thank you so very much
for your support and friendship during this difficult time.

We enjoyed our visit last week with Bob and Jean Harney at your beautiful
homes. You have put so much time and love into these homes and it shows.

I just wanted to say how enjoyable my stay was in the Manor Motel.
The room was comfortable and was tastefully decorated. For me, it
will be the first place I stay when I'm in Gouverneur again. I will
make sure to tell my friends!

What a lovely experience for my first stay in
a bed & breakfast.
My room was so charming and Nelson & Donna made me feel right at
home. Breakfast was FABULOUS! I will certainly stay at Lawrence Manor
whenever I am in Gouverneur!

If you have not stayed with Donna & Nelson
at the Lawrence Manor you have missed the small town attitude, mixed
with an incredible breakfast. Truly, TRULY good people who truly WILL
REMEMBER YOUR NAME the next time you visit! When visiting the area,
